Gate Valve
The gate valve is a commonly used shut-off valve. t controls the on-off of the medium in the pipeline through the ifting of the gate plate, with
core features of low flow resistance and reliable sealing performance.
Applicable Notes
All materials (metallic & non-metallic) shall be suitable for the full pressure rating over the design.
Coating is in accordance with API standard blast and primer for shipment & storage protection.
Asbestos is not acceptable for any valve parts.
Our ball valve is marked in accordance with MSS SP-25 including requirements of ASME B16.34, in addition a stainless steel tag showing the valves tag number is attached to the valve with multi strand stainless steel wire.
All of our pressure containing parts (including ball, stem & seat holders) is supplied with material certification to EN 10204-3.1 (including certified copies of original mill certificates), all other parts including bolting and seal materials to EN10204-2.2.
Our customer is free to undertake inspection and witness testing, this is in addition to any witness points required by the customer.
Our valves in excess of 50Kg to include lifting lugs (flanges and/or top covers shall not be used) and valves in excess of 100Kg shall be supplied with support feet / brackets.
After completion of testing, our valves shall be properly dried to prevent any test liquid remaining in the valve, preserved and fitted with protective end caps suitable for storage in a covered and enclosed desert environment.
Our valves shall be carefully braced and packed in wooden boxes suitable for sea freight in accordance with GB and manufactures standards.
